Helping People Struggling With Opioid Use Disorder

ReVIDA Recovery® Center

Thousands of people across the state of Tennessee are struggling with an opioid use disorder or OUD. In fact, according to the Tennessee Drug Overdose Dashboard, just under 24,000 people in Tennessee received treatment for a nonfatal opioid overdose in 2019. Are you or someone you love among the people in Tennessee suffering from OUD? ReVIDA Recovery® is here to help. Our buprenorphine (Suboxone®) clinic located in Newport, Tennessee, may be a great fit for you.

Treatment You Can Trust

ReVIDA Recovery® Newport offers a number of outpatient services, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine (Suboxone®), structured outpatient programs, community resources, certified peer recovery counseling, family therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, a care coordinator, and linkage and referral to additional resources.

MAT is an important part of our services because it has been found to improve survival chances, keep people in treatment, improve employment opportunities, lower opioid consumption, and lower illegal activity.

When you start treatment at ReVIDA Recovery® Newport, you will meet with three people. First, you will meet your physician, who will write your prescription for buprenorphine (Suboxone®) and any other medications you may need relating to your mental health. Next will be your patient care coordinator, who will be a nurse practitioner. This person will help you in building resources outside of the treatment facility. This includes helping you find job opportunities, education, extended therapy time, or anything else that will benefit you and your future. Finally, you'll meet your therapist, who will help you in answering the challenges you may face with your mental health from before treatment or during treatment. During meetings with your therapist, you will gain the tools needed to deal with things like trauma, family conflict, emotions, communication, goal-setting, and more.
